Why Is The Anonymous Hacker Group Calling For Users To Delete TikTok?
Unlike other social networks, TikTok’s user data collection behavior far surpasses software engineers’ imagination, just like malware.
A few days ago, the self-proclaimed Twitter account of the notorious hacker group Anonymous posted the message: “Delete TikTok now.”
This appeal comes from a post by a Reddit user called Bangorlol, a software engineer with many years of experience, reversing TikTok’s technology and marveling at what this app is doing with user data behind the phone screen.
If social networks like Facebook and Twitter only collect certain information about users, TikTok will use every possible API to collect as much information about the user as possible. Not only information about the user’s contacts, but also all information about the device you use.
