Truth and Awareness of Truth
We all know, perception is a process of approaching truth but never coming to that truth, even if very very close. This is explained by the infinity of the material world in which we live and perceive it. Therefore, science is always evolving.
Each theory of physics introduced at each period will be able to get closer to truth (which could be called “convergence”, or “asymptotic”), but it may also move further (yes. can be called “divergence”, or “misleading”).
But the irony is that the so-called “truth” never fully appears so that we can compare the “perception” (the theory of physics) to whether it is “near” or “far, “converging” or “diverging”? Therefore, from the past up to now, people often have to rely on real experiments to verify with the criterion: “Experiment is the standard of truth”, that is, instead of “truth”, people use “ experiment “as” substitute “.
For example, to overturn the concept of “the Earth is the center of the universe”, Copernicus measured the orbits of the planets and the Sun and found: the “experimental” results would be more consistent if you think that the Sun is “the center”; to prove “truth” — ”On earth, everything falls equally”, Galileo experimented with different heavy and light falling objects in the presence of Vatican Court judges who sentenced him because of those “heretical” thoughts; to prove the “truth” — ”light is a wave”, the Young slit experiment is an “experiment” that is considered convincing, but the “photoelectric effect” experiment also proves to be an…
