Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt: Huawei Engaged In “Unacceptable Behaviors”
He also said that Huawei is creating a great challenge for the US leadership position globally.
In a recent interview with the BBC, former Alphabet chairman and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt warned that Huawei poses challenges to national security and that the Chinese company was involved. Engage in “unacceptable behaviors.”
After leaving the executive chairman position at Google’s parent company, Mr. Schmidt is currently a member of a Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Council.
In an interview with the BBC, he announced that information from Huawei routers would go to the Chinese government. However, in the UK, Huawei head, Victor Zhang, denied the allegations in a statement to the BBC, saying:
