Bad Omen For Mr. Trump
Ignoring voters’ assessments about the speeches’ content at the national congresses of the Democrats and Republicans, Nielsen data shows that President Donald Trump has failed before the former Vice President. Joe Biden on television viewership through convention nights.
While this does not reflect US voters’ supportive attitudes, it does remind that Trump once attracted a higher percentage of followers than Hillary Clinton during the 2016 party congress and then elected President of America.
Compare viewership rate
After the Republican National Congress, President Trump tweeted that his speech on August 27 attracted a large number of viewers and reviews. However, Nielsen’s statistics show that Mr. Trump’s speech and the Republican side lost the proportion of followers compared to the Democrats.
Specifically, the first night of the 2-party congress, the speech of former US First Lady Michelle Obama, attracted about 18.7 million viewers during Senator Tim Scott and others’ speech.
